Yesterday I modeled a WBT strategy with a middle school. HUSD recently held a WBT seminar and our After School personnel were expected to be there. However this middle school only had the site lead in attendance. The staff who did not attend the training feel that WBT is " not for middle school" kids. However the middle schools who did attend the training are fully using it. While, of course my modeling was stellar...lol...I know if they had gone to the training we wouldnt be trying to overcome their wrong belief system...GO TO TRAINING w WBT STAFF!! It makes such a difference.
