I introduced Leadership Buttons last week, and I could see right away that some of my most challenging students REALLY wanted them. Whenever I announced that I was looking for new leaders, they immediately were on their best behavior. Which is great, exactly what I was aiming for! But I don't want to give them the leadership roles too quickly...and I also don't want to delay them for so long that they get frustrated or give up. I am trying to gauge it, and I'm going to speak with these students individually for a pep talk so they know I've got my eye on them (in a positive way).
I started the buttons with my alphas, but some of them were just not energetic enough...I think it was actually a good thing, because other students started thinking about how THEY would do it if they were the leaders...
Any tips for a time frame?
