Totally awesome! What are your thoughts after the first day?


I have learned so much more on top of the first steps. I'm so looking forward to going back to school in a few weeks and having a HUGE back pocket ready for my diverse learners!
Many of my colleagues went, it was so fun to share with them too!

Where are all the conference-goers at!?!?

I am also attending the Phoenix conference and it ROCKS! The Smackdown - or was it Showdown? - in the desert was too much!

Hats off to our amazing instructors who worked so hard teaching us all day long and then managed to put together that video for us the next morning!

I have dabbled in WBT, but I have learned so much and my classroom will be WBT to the MAX!

I have been attending the AZ conference as well and it is AMAZING! I tried a few of the techniques after attending a one day conference in January but I think this four day conference is really what will transform my teaching. I am soooo excited to get into my classroom in August and create my Whole Brain Classroom!

Thank you to all of the instructors AND all of the attendees. Each day has been so fun! Learning really can be fun 100% of the time!

I had a great time at the Conference! I heard about WBT last year at a Professional development on Brain Research and Education put on by my old district. It was briefly introduced, but I really caught my attention. I attempted and was fairly successful with class-yes and attempted but very unsuccessful with teach-ok. After decided to move back home to AZ I found out about this conference and immediately signed up and I am so glad I did. I feel confident to start my new year in a new district and new grade level and implement all the parts of WBT. I LOVED that we were taught WBT by teaching using WBT! What a concept teaching us what we are to do by doing it!!!
Angela M was an awesome presenter/teacher. I can't wait to follow your Blog on your first year in High School.
Thank you to everybody who presented and who helped to put this conference on! I feel more energized to start this new school year than I have since my first year teaching. Last year I was thinking about changing professions; now I'm excited to continue teaching! THANK YOU!
