I've video taping myself a few times in attempts to post a video showing WBT methods. Watching the students was an eye opener for me. The gestures of many of them were muddled and the partner teaching looked bad. I was not seeing this problem while I was teaching.

I have started a renewed effort to have students make large, clean gestures and to turn towards their partners when teaching. I am finding that I cannot let up on the effort. Without frequent reminders from me, students will slack off. There is no coasting here.

Part of it is due to a bad habit I have developed. I frequently forget to say "Mirror" before moving into my instruction. Instead, I remember several seconds into my spiel.

Rehearse, rehearse, rehearse.
