I've started the Bull's Eye Game with one of my students, but have yet to think of a prize (bad, I know). I know it should probably be specific to the student, but I'm curious what other people who have used this strategy have done?

At the last workshop I attend, Chris suggested allowing the student to pick a prize based on their interest, and your budget. Would that work?

I am using the Bulls Eye game with my 5 year old. It is amazing how this has worked. It took her about 2 days to clue in to the game. The prize is if she gets a total of 10 pts she gets a beverage of her choice. She has figured out that if she can match my grade for her she can achieve total points very quickly. She is looking at me right now and giving me that look...oh yea, I just scored...because she hit 10pts today.

This kid is obsessed with computers, so I'm going to say if he gets 10 points he can use my laptop to type his quick write the next day rather than writing it by hand. He seemed really excited about that.
