Ok...seriously....as much of a Power Teaching OBSESSED MANIAC as I am...yes I really am and my coworkers are now seriously annoyed with me....LOL....you would think that I had already mastered the Super Speed 100 and Math. I introduced the Super speed 100 at one point but with teaching and such it kinda got pushed to the side....so much info to implement at once...LOL!

Ok well I am in love! Over the past 3 days my kids have learned super speed 100, super speed math, and mind soccer! It is amazing!!!!!!!!

They love it and want to play it so much! I wish I had only known the effect earlier to use it as an incentive for the scoreboard! And remember....I TEACH KINDERGARTEN!!!!

Today I had four students....that at the end of the day when the two kinder classes were going to enjoy a free afternoon of popcorn and a movie....they wanted to stay in the classroom with me and play SUPER SPEED!!!! LOL! For like an hour!!!! and they were content and happy and above all LEARNING!!!!!!!!!!

I am so pumped about this!

Then at the end of the day I taught them mind soccer! We used our vocabulary words and definitions as the questions and HEY TEACHERS....I literally read the ebook briefly for about 5 min....had 15 min left in the day....divided the class into teams...drew the field on the board....and started playing....and next thing I know I had parents walking in and watching us play and we were over time! LOL!


Great GAME and I love it and above all the KIDS LOVE IT!!!

I'm so glad that you are having that much fun! Mind Soccer is a blast you are right. Don't worry about your colleagues...they either follow you or they won't, as long as your having success and your kids are too, that's all that matters.

I posted under my discussion...oh well. I have a question for you. Did you copy and laminate 12 or more booklets for Super Speed 100? I am thinking about copying and laminating enough for all pairs and let them just circle the number they reach each time with a dry erase marker. What works well for you? Thanks!

I am usually on this board daily but this last two weeks of school have been crazy!

I did make 12 Super Speed books...however they are tabbed...so super Super Speed Letters, 100, Numbers, and Math are all in the same book! That way when the kids "WIN" time to play they can choose which one!

I actually bought page protectors! Yes I know that is a lot of page protectors LOL! But I got them at Sams.

I think the total cost for all 12 books was less than 100.00.

But to me it was an investment. And considering the actual GAME was FREE...I didn't mind!
