Ok.... The Eleven Day Writing Lesson Plan is fabulous! If you haven't had an opportunity to check it out in WBT Model Classroom yet, please do! Furthermore, you should couple this template with the writing game, which is another downloadable e-book. I think that I am going to have each student hold all of their personal record charts for complexor, puzzle, superspeed Math and Reading, in a folder in their desk. Any one out there have a varied approach? Also, once the personal record charts are full do we collect them or send them home?

Heather while we have our planning thinking caps on, can anyone thing of "creative" visuals for the genius sentence ladder. I like my kids to have a visual along with gestures especially for the ESL kids. I plan on making a ladder to the moon with their sentences. Love the notebook idea, I am so excited cause this year I can fosus on organization with my class rather than so much of my WBT techniques.

I feel the same about organization! I love the idea of building a ladder to the moon! I was thinking of building a 3-D ladder out of butcher paper and using sentence strips to build the various sentences. I just need to allow plenty of space for the power pic wall. Once I get my room all set up I will try to post a picture so that there are various examples of how WBT rooms are set up. I sure hope there are lots of pictures from other WBT teachers!!!!

There is one under the elementary forum on the sentence ladder discussion. If you go to my blog you will find the one I will be using in my classroom under the WBT label. It does not have the highest level since I will be teaching pre-k...hope this helps.

where did you find the 11day writing plan? in the writing game download? I went to a conference and parts of the writing game were in there...but didn't see a plan. I am working on how to implement this into my classroom. Any tips? 4th grade writing is tested this year and I really want my kids to succeed! I know using WBT for classroom mgmt worked well. Have you used the writing game before?

Hi...i really would like to begin implementing the writing game after the thanksgiving break, so I'm in search of this 11-day lesson plan so I can study it now and be ready to go when school starts again. Could please find it and post it as an attachment here? It is not on the Free E-Books tab, nor could I find anything on the homepage that says "WBT MODEL CLASSROOM."
