TOPIC: Visual Phonics

Visual Phonics 9 months ago #7596

Does anyone out there use visual phonics? Many teachers in my new school do, but I can not find any info on the internet that tell me what the cues are (or are there any WBT gestures for the letters and their sounds). I like how it gives a gesture to the sound of each letter and I think it will work great with WBT!

you could use the same ones as zoo phonics look them up on youtube not sure if you have to pay or not or you could just make up your own like i did. Example- aaa- pretend i'm eating an apple, bbb- ball pretend i'm bouncing a ball. ccc- cat pretend i have whiskers like a cat. etc....

Thank you for the suggestion. I looked into the zoo phonics and I think my school may adopt them for next year:)
