I'm a new teacher this year, and one of the reasons they hired me (I think) is because I use WBT. I don't use every little part of the system, as I'm a small group pullout teacher, but I use what works for me.
Long story short... we have a professional development on Monday on our campus, and our principal wants me to present for about 45 minutes. She wants me to show the pre-k and kinder teachers about WBT. So, my question is, what should I plan to show them? Obviously the basics like class/yes, teach/okay, and probably the scoreboard. But what else???
I usually teach upper elementary kids, so what are the most important parts of WBT as it pertains to pre-k and kinder? And what is a good amount to throw at them in only 45 min? I have not been formally trained on WBT, or even been to a workshop. They've just seen me using it, and want me to present.
Thanks in advance,
Chris
