Does anyone use Step up to Writing and incorporate it with Genius Ladder?

OUr school uses Step Up, but there's a problem of getting the kids to go from the outline to the full sentences in the paragraphs. I can see using the Genius Paragraph maybe for each star idea. But I'm not sure how to do it, because they are supposed to have it down in outline form first.

Anyone have any ideas?

I can see the Genius Ladder as a "partner" to your Step Up program.

At our school we've incorporated Oral Writing into our Step Up. We've added the step up colors to the answer (green), adder (yellow), adder (yellow), conclusion (green) to help the students make the connections to Step Up.

I'm not sure if this answer will help, but I hope it does.
