You are the man, Lukas!!!

Well done!!!

A school where 5 out of the 9 class teachers use WBT is going to be a very successful school indeed!

I'm sure that, in a couple of years we'll hear how 100% of the teachers of your school are using this method.

Wonderful work!!!

Thanks Edward

Best news I have another ...

In addition to the 4 guardians are also interested in starting WBT 4 special (English, reinforcement, physical education, special education).

We are talking about half of the school.

Soon we will be a school WBT.

Greetings.

Lukas

I started using PT with my pre-teens and 6-8 year olds a year ago. The results were AWESOME!!! It really works!!!
I still teach them and they still enjoy it.

This year some more teachers in my school and other affiliates joined us.

Whole Brain Teaching is in Ukraine now!!!!

That's fantastic! When I was a boy I used to play a board game that used a world map ... the Ukraine was one of my favorite areas. What WBT techniques do you find most successful with your students? Have you tried any of our free downloads, and if so, what have been the results? What do your administrators think? The world wants to hear more about WBT from the Ukraine!

I have always loved teaching but knew I would find my style of teaching. I went to a READ 180 training in Nashville & one of the teachers mentioned it. I went home and researched it. I have been using it in my inclusion class since October and its been the best thing I've ever done with teaching. I wake up in the morning excited to go to school and was upset when we had snowdays. Every student in my class is excited for lessons to start and to do our gestures. It's the power teaching!! Thank you!! My administration is very impressed and asked it is possible I make this school wide. They asked me this week to do a get up and tell all the teachers about power teaching. My plan is to complete all the steps so I can do a training @ my school. Do you know if there are any workshops any where near Virginia?
Thank you,

Hello! I wonder if there are any teachers from Russia using WBT? My experience is short by now (about a month) but really impressive! I can't wait until 1st September! I am a private teacher and teach EFL to small groups of kids with ages from 5 to 16. I hope the following teaching period will bring me and my students to more successful teaching and learning of English language.

Thanks for welcoming Heather!
My name is Sveta. I'm using my vacation time for deep studying of WBT techniques and rehearsing them on my own. It seems I already love power teaching! I'll keep you posted.

It is exciting to hear about WBT in Russia too!

I was like you and studied last summer to get ready for the school year. It was the best school year I ever had! Whole Brain Teaching makes a huge difference!

Heather,
I need an advice. I was wrong with time counting and missed the webinar tonight , so I want to ask should I start using The Super Imrovers Wall from the beginning of school year as I only start WBT with my students? Or I don't need it until some time?

Also, I don't have recesses, I have one lesson per day with each group. Will it be fine if using scoreboard I make 1,2,or 3 minutes more or less of a lesson, not a recess?

Thanks in advance.

Foxy,
How is it going with WBT in Ukaine? You're my closest neighbour. Do you teach English? Can you share your experience?

Hello Sveta!!
I started the super improvers wall right away. The students are responding well to it. I like that there is lots of accountability for each of the students who have received a name and a star. Oh my....what role models these students are being!! Usually, with the scoreboard, students can either practice the rules or more of a lesson. You can get the Classroom model doc on the e-book resource section. It is ready to go!!

Let me know if you have any other questions!!

Thanks!!

Thank you Heather!
I begin to feel more confident with your support! I have already downloaded the Classroom model e-book and have been studying it. i think sentence ladder wil be very useful for my students. have you used it?
Does your school year start in August? We in Russia always start from September 1st. So I have some more time to get well prepared for WBT.

Thanks again,

Sveta

Joy,

The super improvers wall was just discussed on Monday during the live Webinar. It is now in the updated version of the WBT Model classroom. It is now under the free Ebooks. Basically what it is is a great way to show student improvement. You start by putting the students names on the wall. Each time they break a personal record, you put a star on their name. Once they have 5, you take a silly picture of them which can include friend. Hang the photo on the wall backwards. When they earn 5 more stars, turn the photo over. Stars can be earned for any improvement, not just super speed. Hope this helps. I haven't used it yet because I don't start until next week. Check out the Ebooks for more of an explanation.

Hello Heather and everyone!

I'd like to share my joy. First, I've taken part in two WBT web programmes! It was so exciting to communicate with all the wonderful people there! I'm going to watch the next programme too, though it's at 4 A.M. in our time zone.

Second, I've prepared my classroom: made a PowerPix Wall, a Super Improvers Wall, and my husband made a very nice Sentence Ladder. Then I called parents and told them about WBT and ... they liked the idea!!! they were surprised, pleased and astonished at the same time, but THEY LIKED IT!!!

And third - I'm starting WBT with my students on Monday!!! I can't wait anymore !!! I'm ready-ready to start!

So, these are my news. Wish me luck.

All the best,

Sveta
