Hello! I was wondering if any of you have some gestures the class can do in celebration of an achievement. For example, my children are working on a online math program called Dreambox. In this program, the children attempt to complete different math activities in order to complete a story (kind of like a quest). The kids are super excited to complete these stories and work hard to do it, so I wanted to recognize them in our morning meeting. Right now, we use the following kids of cheers with gestures:
Rodeo cheer where we pretend we are using a lasso and cheer, "Yee-ha!"
Roller coaster cheer where we put our hands together and pretend to be a roller coaster climbing the hill. We say ch-ch-ch-ch-ch and when we get to the top of the hill cheer wooo and make our coaster go down the hill.
Does anyone else have a good cheer/gesture?

Susan

I use these (I think I learned these at a WBT conference):
Fireworks: clap your hand up from your chest straight up over your head. when in the air make the the sound pish and wiggle your fingers like exploding fireworks in the sky.
Truckdriver: say honk honk and pull your horn two times then act like you are holding cb radio in your hand and say "nice work good buddy"
Ketchup: ball up your fist hit it with the palm of your other hand like you are hitting the bottom of a ketchup bottle.
Hope these help!
