Recently, I forwarded an email to my school about upcoming WBT conferences. One of the teachers on my staff responded by sending me an email regarding two of my students who broke school rules during lunch! I responded to her thinly-veiled rebuke with a kindly-worded thanks for the information. Whole Brain Teaching (me especially) are not perfect...we just never stop trying.
Keep in mind that some people feel the need to "bring down" someone whom is successful in the classroom. They feel that teaching is a competition. You keep on sharing your successes with WBT and stay positive!
Sure. Mostly it comes from people who reveal through their comments that they have little or no understanding for what the method really is, how it works, and so on. I am alwasy polite, and seek to educate them to what we really do.
