TOPIC: SuperSpeed in Color?

SuperSpeed in Color? 1 year, 11 months ago #3366

I'm going to be getting my class set of Superspeed Reading and Math sets ready. I plan to place the sheets in page protectors so I can keep them longer. I've noticed that some of the parts are in color. As much as I would love to print them all out at home in color, having to make 12-13 sets is just a little more than I can handle. I can print them at school, front and back but only in black and white. Is that okay, or is the use of color important to the game process?

In my limited experience with super speed reading/math, I have only used black and white, and I haven't noticed any problems. For example the gnarlies in super speed math still print out shaded. It just isn't quite so pretty.

Southern Teacher

We also use black and white copies. Then highlight the colored words. I personally bought 20 yellow highlighters and passed them out to be rotated between the primary teachers. We did the same thing for Letters and Phonics and also had the kids color the cartoons in Biffytoons. The teachers used some of the art class time to do the coloring. One teacher did not like my limited color selection and bought her own selection of highliters - GREAT!
