Sounds great! It brings up something else I've been wondering about. I recently started tweeting, for the purpose of professional development. I have already taken part in a number of Twitter chats revolving around Daily 5 reading strategies. Are any WBT folks using Twitter? If so, is there a standard hashmark, like #WBT, being used to mark Whole Brain Teaching posts? I think this could be a great, additional way to follow what everyone is doing, particularly for providing links to new blog posts. Any thoughts on this?

Count me in. I'd love to share ideas, especially with other high school teachers.
How about weekdays around 8-9pm (Eastern time)? Once a week might be too few (considering how quickly school will be upon us). Maybe M-W-F? With whoever (whomever?) shows up?

Tonight at 8? Normally that would work, but my daughter is in Footloose tonight at 8:30. Please let me know if you reschedule or do another one. Also, I just bought a Mac. If anyone has one and is interested in trying iChat video conferencing, I would be up for it! I haven't tried it yet, but how cool for us to be able to meet like that when we all live in so many different locations!

oops. I missed it. I just checked the forum. Did anyone show up?

Yes! There were about 7-8 of us there. It was great. Coach B chatted with us about the genius ladder. We will be meeting next Monday at 5 p.m. PST. That will be my first day of school, so I probably won't be able to make it, but it was worth it and FUN!
