I lost your wonderful comment to Deb, which I wanted to site as an example to my administrators. You said that with oral language and the genius ladder that would add up to ----hours of ---and then ----hours of ---would equal?????? # of words.

Can you share that again soon, my class is being visited by them (administrators) and I am not doing paper pencil writing because we are working on oral language and composing genius sentences together with noun, article and so on.

If kids are using Teach-Okay regularly with Oral Writing, which involves speaking complete sentences ... and if they are also using the Genius Ladder ... we could say very conservatively that they are speaking 30 accurately formed sentences a day ... that is 150 a week, 600 a month, 5,400 after 9 months. We love the reps!

Thank you that was awesome - it's off topic but on the TV program "the big bang" they used reference to hippocampus (spp?) It was so cool I love knowing the brain parts!
