What bracelets are you referring to, I think a description or where you saw them would help us help you

I got the idea of the inspirational bracelets from Chris Rekstad. I purchased them through Oriental Trading, but have not used them yet this year. I thought they would be a better motivator towards the end of the year when the sun comes out. I have not seen metallic ones.

Just starting Super Imprver Wall, but I'm thinking when kids have moved up enough that I might use a button machine for a button they can wear that says "Self Manager"...could be used so that students with that button don't need to carry a pass as they move through the hall, or to allow seat choice or whatever comes up that someone who is a "self manager" could handle without teacher overseeing.

How about polymer beads instead of bracelets? 6 months, 1 week ago #9097

OOPS- this accidentally went onto the main boards when I meant it to post here:

Ok, given that I am funding this myself, I am trying beads that build up on a string as they pass through each color. I bought the polymer clay and the kids make the color bead and mix in some glitter (a special glitter sold with the clay- it does not melt) and make a bead right there and then. I found a polymer clay baking over (uses a light bulb) and we bake it that day.

The kids love it- they are create their own design of bead, we bake, and they have it on a lanyard or string and build up their beads all the way through the colors. This is MUCH cheaper and rather fun.

I don't have any pictures right now, but I did find a picture online of some beads. One picture shows the clear plastic beads- the 'idea', the next shows polymer beads with mixed colors, flattened (too breakable, but the idea is there), and the last shows them as 'eyeballs' with color inside. This is FUN....

Thoughts? Ideas?
