Depending on your grade level, the best source for gestures are your students. You'd be amazed at some of the amazing things they come up with. If you're working with young primary kids, you'll have to come up with them more on your own.

What are some concepts that you're looking for as far as gestures go?

I find the gestures relatively easy just because I have a background in sign language (a deaf neice). I like to use the basic signs from SEE (Signing Exact English). This book gives you a sign for individual words (not phrases like ASL). They are easy to learn and use. In fact, alot of the motions people use for songs for children are actually SEE sign language. The book is called Signing Exact English.

Another resource for basic gestures are the Biffytoons, and your students. Sometimes I give a homework or extra credit assignment for coming up with gestures!

I like the idea of extra credit for coming up with a gesture. I think the more the students can come up with the more ownership they will have. I also have a background in working with the deaf and use sign language for gestures. I highly recommend using ASL signs as much as you can as it is the 3rd most used language in the US. If you have access to the Captioned Media Institute program you can check out videos to learn ASL signs, my favorite are the Bravo family ASL series. The Series includes the following titles:
Meet the Bravo Family; Breakfast With the Bravo Family; Where's the TV Remote?; Let's Go Food Shopping!; Review and Practice (Lessons 1-4); Read Any Good Fingers Lately?; A School Daze; School Daze: The Sequel; Dollar Signs; Review and Practice (Lessons 6-9); Playing in the Park; The Doctor Is In!; Business As Usual; Let's Go Clothes Shopping!; Review and Practice (Lessons 11-14)

Also SigningTime from PBS is great.

What about something online? What is available in terms of ASL videos, and what sites? I have found only a few on Youtube. Certainly there must be more...
