Hey folks--
Looking for good gestures for the 5 W's (WhoWhatWhenWhereWhy) plus How, good for grades 3-8.

This is where I wish we had some type of video feed on here.

Who: point to yourself
What: point to palm of hand "what's this?"
Where: point to the four corners of the room to show location
When: point to your wrist (where a watch would be located)
Why: put hands in a confused manner in front of you like I do with my class "Why did you do that?"
How: pretend as if you are hammering or stitching something

I use these in my lessons and they work well. I let the kids help with the creation or I just lead them to the gestures I would like to use.
