Ok, so I actually made up a song to go with my gestures for this! I would really like to post a video showing my kids doing this.

"When you're adding fractions... make a plus with your arms
or subtracting fractions... make a minus with your arm
the bottom stays the same... arms by side, perfectly still
and the top is where the action happens." hands on shoulders and wiggle your top

What was perfect? What was great? I thought Whole Brain Teaching was about sharing for the common good of the student?

As I see it, the initial messages are either hidden or gone. Why should I bother posting things that have worked well for me just to have them "gone" for another that doesn't have something that works well?
