I'm sure you would love the conferences. I've been fortunate enough to attend several Power Teaching conferences, (before it became whole brain teaching) and my students have responded well to class -yes, and other attention grabbers.
They loved Penny words (similar though not the same as Superspeed. I can't wait to introduce SuperSpeed to them. I know that they will love it. I teach multiple grades, so several of my students are returners. I teach students who are typically at least two years behind in reading and building sight word automaticity is important, and these methods highly motivate students to want to do repetitiou and necessary practice.
