I am still on a high from attending my first WBT conference in Alabama on Halloween. Now here is just how good it was: It took me 5.5 hours to make the 3.5 drive (accident on I-20) and then I was lost on the college campus for another 45 minutes. I arrived over an hour late for the conference. With that all being said, this was the BEST conference I have EVER attended!

I have applied with my county to offer our own WBT course and am keeping my fingers crossed that it is approved. I can see how these strategies can not only make teaching more fun, but increase student engagement and raise achievement.

We're glad you enjoyed in Alabama. My brothers, Chris B and Chris R, are great at what they do, so it doesn't surprise me that you had a great time. Hopefully you can start the WBT movement in Georgia. Let us know what we can do on our end.

You sound like the perfect Whole Brain Teacher. Many others would have given up or turned around after the accident. Your students are blessed to have you. Let us know what we can do to help when you get started.

Next week I am meeting with the Kindergarten teachers at both of my schools to share Biffytoons with them. I am going to sneak WBT in and hook them before they even realize it!
