My name is Adam. I am teaching EFL in Taiwan. Lots of students here find learning English boring and so I really need to come up with lots of ways to keep them awake and learning. I already got some good ideas from WBT and I just started going through all the resourses on the site.
My younger students love to do stuff like mirroring and TPR kind of stuff. They also really got a kick out of the mighty groan. That was fun.
My older students need some waking up and I really have a lot of work ahead with them to get them to do anthing. Interestingly enough, though, the students that appear the least interested in class are sometimes my best writers. They have this attitude that they don't care what anyone thinks of them and they just write down whatever comes to mind. Sometimes that's the best thing to do.
