I teach English in a middle school (11-13 yo kids), South Italy, where I have just started using Whole Brain Teaching methodology.

I wonder if there is anyone else from Italy and if anyone is implementing WBT with Interactive Whiteboards.
Best,
Sal

Wow! it is great that we have a Whole Brain Teacher in Italy on our forums. I am in California, but I did use to have a smart board. The smart boards can be really effective with Teach/Okay. If you have kids who can come up and re-teach a lesson to their classmates after you taught it using the smart board, I imagine you will have excellent engagement. I teach Middle School English. Give us some of your ideas and experiences on here. I would love to hear about how kids in other parts of the world are experiencing WBT.

Hi Angela,
thanks for your message.
Dunno if I am the only one in Italy using WBT. For sure I am the first victim. WBT is soooo demanding and requires lots of energy and movement in order to have the kids engaged. For me that meant sweating a lot and because of standing in draughts I'm now at home with a bad flu.
I am planning some lessons on gestures using the interactive whiteboard.
I will be pleased to share materials with other colleagues.
Best,
Sal
