Hi my name is Brittany James. I am currently a second year 4th grade teacher at Bayou Vista Elementary. I attended a conference in Louisiana this summer and I have been implementing WBT full force. We have presented this to our school several times and nearly the WHOLE school is also implementing WBT! It has turned my life around and I am so excited. My students LOVE to come to school and they also told me "I never knew learning could be so much fun". I love my job, my school, my faculty, my students, and most of all WBT!!!! The way that we came across WBT was our dedicated Reading Specialist at the time was googling "student engagement" because the kids looked so bored. She came across the WBT site and fell in love with it. She first was able to get a second grade teacher to watch the videos and try it and she did. The second grade teacher had success with it. Four of our teachers went to the conference this summer and have never taught the same as a result. We LOVE WBT! Our whole school is on board and we are "rockin and rollin'"!!!
