Has anyone experienced this? You get crazy-excited about WBT, you do a fabulous job doing it, and then, somehow, you fall away from it.

I wonder what you did, if that's you. I was really consistent in the beginning, but now I've kind of let it go a bit, and my class is definitely showing that. I LOVE this system, but also feel a bit stalled, because there's so much to do for regular classroom maintenance, plus this. I think I just need to get back to basics, and re-start...

Hear ya, heat ya loud and clear. Having taught the oldie way for so long I do this exact routine. I try to pump myself up with rule 5 keep your dear teacher happy. I let myself and kiddos know I am super amped doing whole brain and when they don't help that old lady teacher slips in.....just like viola swamp. Yikes. WBT is a hard role to play and keep that level of energy going but if we keep each other on task we can do it. My biggest issue is I still talk to much can't you tell from this post-ah shucks.
