TOPIC: Hello from Louisiana

Hello from Louisiana 7 months, 1 week ago #8630

Hello all from Louisiana. I began using WBT this school year after going to the national conference in Pineville Louisiana. It has been life changing for me. I currently teach Kindergarten in a very poverty stricken area. I have 16 students, 4 of which have disabilities but are total inclusion. WBT has changed my classroom completely and I will never turn back. My students LOVE it! I also incorporate a lot of Brain Gym activities into my classroom as well.

Look forward to "talking to y'all"

I'm in Shreveport. Where are you? I love WBT, too and add new elements every year or change old ones. I like the change making everything short. I tell the kids that when they do a SHORT ten-fingered woo, it gives the person more "power". They think of power in a more cartoon sense, but I can SEE the empowerment as well as the face-saving of the "It's cool" thumbs up gesture. I love how WBT is continually refined.

Welcome to both of you. Amanada, I was at that conference this summer as well. What a great few days! As many WBT conferences as I have attended, they never get old because they are always refining and improving.
