Hello Andrea, I was at the WBT seminar at Louisiana College this summer. You mentioned a welcome letter you send to parents at the beginning of the year explaining the rules, homework, etc. Do you think you could share it with us? Thanks for your help! P.S. Any other docs you would like to share would be greatly appreciated.

I too would love to see how you structure your welcome letter Andrea!! I am the one who asked for the gestures for the "Who let the letters out? song and I have been practicing for our first day of school! Soo much fun!!!

I am starting a new kinder class I would also love,love,love to have a copy of the letter home and any other advice you can give. Practicing all my WBT promts so I am ready.

K. Weird. It says it is not formatted right. But! I did successfully upload it a couple of weeks ago~ if you look under the thread that says "Beg of the year? Parent letter" it is there. Sorry! I also have a kinder pacing guide for how to start off the year using wbt in Kinder. it is somewhere else in a folder on the forum~ but you can also email me since this is not letting me attach documents.

k~ found it! For the "how to start your year off with WBT in kinder" scroll down to the folder that says "Start of the year with WBT....how?" (or something close to that) and it is attached there:)! yay! Don't know why it's not working for me all the sudden! UGH! but at least you can look there:)

Andrea do you have an example of your weekly report that you send home to your parents????

Here is a sample of the old one I have used for a really long time and an example of the new one that I just made this year because I moved up to second grade and I have many of the same students/ parents. I got the idea from my mentor teacher when I was student teaching. It's a great way to cover yourself and to communicate with parents
