I'm right there with you Susan! I can't wait! Looking forward to meeting more Whole Brain teachers from Missouri and other places as well! It's sure to be a fun-filled time of learning and exchanging of ideas.

Thanks,

I am a Missouri teacher, but I will not be at the West Plains Conference this year. I attended last year and left the conference on information overload and filled to brim with excitement! Please make sure to share the great new information, ideas and reminders learned for those of us that can't attend!

Thanks,

Hey Staci,

I am so excited to share that at least two of my team members are registered for the West Plains Conference and there may be more from my district! WBT will be in full force for the upcoming school year!

Hey Laura-

That's great that there are teachers from your team attending. I know that we have around 12 teachers from our district attending. Nine of those from the school I teach at! I'm super pumped about that! Maybe we'll be able to meet up with some of your colleagues and share some great ideas! I'll be sure to post and share with you what we learn! Wish you could be there!

Thanks,

Hey Staci,

Well...how was the West Plains conference? While I was on vacation, my teammates called me and had to share EVERYTHING about the conference that they learned! It is always so exciting to hear the excitement in teachers' voices when they share about WBT. Tell me everything that I missed!

Thanks,

Hi Laura-

I had the privilege of meeting your teammates in West Plains! They seemed very excited. You've got a great group to work with! I hope you had a great trip. We sure did miss you in West Plains though. The sentence ladder that we learned about in Louisiana is now called the genius ladder. They talked more about the 5 step lesson template and the model classroom. Make sure you download the model classroom eBook if you haven't already. I got more ideas on how I'm going to set up my model classroom, and some clarification on Yes/No Way and QT. So, now I feel more ready to start the year. We also talked more about Classroom leaders, and the stages of leadership that students can work through to get leadership status. There was more clarification on homework as well. Biffle also shared an upcoming project to have WBT videos for kids that will help them work with SuperSpeed 100 and 1,000. That's very exciting! That is just a really quick overview! Hope that helps. I'm sure your team will be super excited to share even more with you!

Thanks

Staci,

Thank you so much for the update from the West Plains conference! Yes, my team members were super excited and can't wait for the new year to begin! WBT is going to be spreading everywhere in our school this year! First on the list, creating Power Pix for fifth graders!

Laura-

I'm so excited that your colleagues are on board! I know you have a workshop coming up with Andrea in August too, so hopefully that will get even more of your teammates on board! Can't wait to hear how 5th grade PowerPix go! Keep us posted!

Thanks,
